Freedom EVO Clinical is an open platform for clinical diagnostic applications. The new series will be available in deck sizes of 75, 100, 150 and 200 cm that allow choosing the optimal instrument for your laboratory space and throughput requirements. Tecan will focus on implementing new technologies and features to allow new applications and to evolve the quality, safety and performance of the Freedom EVO in the clinical diagnostics and blood bank environment.
The Freedom EVO Clinical has been designed to comply with the new In Vitro Diagnostics Directive of the European Community (IVD-D; 98/79 EC). It will therefore be marked with a CE label that declares the conformity of the Instrument with this important new directive.
