| Jenner Stain is used for staining of peripheral blood smears and is one of the oldest stain formulations still in use today. It provides results similar to that of Giemsa stain, although eosinophillic granules tend to appear brighter red; basophilic granules and nuclear chromatin stain a dense blue. | |
