| The Songer Cable System is a unique and versatile posterior spinal implant system. Intended for compressive spinal fusion constructs, as a translational implant in correction of deformity, or simply as an anchoring element for bone or metallic implants, cables have performed well in a variety of implant configurations. Songer Cables offer advantages in strength, flexibility, consistency, and imaging (Ti) over the traditionally used wire. Consisting of three cable designs and corresponding components, and made of both stainless steel and titanium alloy, Songer cables may be adapted to many spinal applications: Atlanto-axial (C1-C2) fusion with bone. Occipito-cervical fusion with bone or rods. Cervical interspinous, triple-wire, or facet cabling techniques. Thoraco-lumbar translation and anchoring in deformity constructs. Direct repair of lumbar pars interarticularis defects. | |
