Product Description

The Carbonart™ is composed of a Bicarbon valve, with a modified aortic sewing ring, and a vascular conduit, both coated with Carbofilm™. The prosthesis is intended for use as a replacement for the aortic valve and the ascending aorta. The double-velour PET fabric guarantees softness and suppleness and assures easy suturing with good suture retention. An advanced weaving technique eliminates the risk of fraying and oozing. Internal and external Carbofilm™ coating enhances haemocompatibility. The external proximal portion is left uncoated to increase visibility during coronary anastomosis.
