Conduit™ TCP Granules Bone Graft | | | General Information | |
| Vendor | | DePuy Orthopaedics, Inc. | | Item | | Conduit™ TCP Granules Bone Graft | | Features | | Composed of the constituents that comprise 70% of the mineral phase of bone. No inflammatory response or reported case of rejection. Synthetic material eliminates risk of viral transmission. Interconnected multidirectional pores that mimic the structure of human cancellous bone. Porosity. Pore size average of 1-600µm optimizes cellular in-growth and attachment and strongly encourages integration inside bone tissue. Connected porosity (inter-granular and intra-granular) and allows for vascular development. Faster resorption than Hydroxyapatite implants. Osseointegrated due to chemical composition and pore structure similar to human bone. | | Approval | | USA and Worldwide | | Product Number | | Inquire | | Pricing | | Inquire | | Financing | | To finance this purchase click here (U.S. customers only) |
 | | Product Description | |
| Conduit™ TCP is a synthetic porous ceramic graft material composed of Tricalcium Phosphate, which is similar to the mineral phase that comprises 70% of human bone. TCP is an osteoconductive material that provides a scaffold that allows the attachment of bone forming cells and allows for the development of vascular networks within granules as well as between each granule. Conduit TCP strikes the perfect balance between structural integrity and porosity, which better mimics that of a patient's own bone as compared to other synthetic graft materials. Conduit TCP is resorbed through cell mediated events that are involved in the normal remodeling cycle of bone. | |
