Features		Low blood volume. The Symphony II PCS can produce consistently high levels of platelet concentrate from as little as 55-110 ml of the patient's blood. Permits multiple runs on a single patient, if necessary. Automated system captures platelets available in whole blood, assuring a consistently high level of platelet concentrate. Consistently yields three to six times the baseline level of platelets. Growth factors found in platelets - PDGF, TGF-ß, EGF, and VEGF - are also increased three to six times. Quick, automated system makes platelet concentrate available in less than 15 minutes, eliminating intraoperative delays.

Product Description

Symphony™ Platelet Concentrate System is a point-of-care system designed for the rapid preparation of Platelet Concentrate (also referred to as Platelet Rich Plasma - PRP) and Platelet Poor Plasma (PPP) from a small sample of blood. The Symphony PCS concentrates the body's natural growth factors, which are found in the platelets. The platelet concentrate can be mixed with autograft and allograft bone grafting materials prior to application to an orthopedic surgical site as deemed necessary by the clinical use requirements. The Symphony PCS produces autologous platelet concentrate containing viable platelets with a full compliment of associated growth factors.
