| Optetrak’s new generation of posterior stabilized knee has an advanced design which provides the following: Patellar flange mates with both resurfacing and inset patellas. Precision machined condyles assure precise, repeatable kinematics and fit with tibial articular surface and patella to reduce wear. Constant cutting guide peg locations provide easy intraoperative change of sizes. Increased spine/cam height gives improved stability. Curved spine/cam articulation reduces contact stress on the tibial spine. Reduced cam box width for less bone resection. Extended and deepened patellar groove reduces shear and compressive stress on patellar component. Less prominent femoral flange edges reduce surrounding soft tissue tension and improve patellar tracking. Unlike other implants, Optetrak is fully machined on the under surface for better implant-to-bone fit. | |
