The distal end of the femur is remodeled to conform to the inner surfaces of the BioPro total femoral component. This component reduplicates the functional important aspects of the normal articular surfaces of the femoral condyles and can be easily anchored into the base of the femur with the two pins that protrude from the inner surface of the implant.
