Indicated for acute trauma resulting in 3 or 4 part displacement fractures, articular surface impression fractures greater than 50%, head-splitting fractures, disabling pain unresponsive to conservative treatment due to osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis, post-traumatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, sickle cell infarction, irradiation necrosis. Ideal for total shoulder arthoplasty. Indicated for pain due to incongruity of both the glenoid and humeral head, with intact or repairable rotator cuff. | |
