New technology in ZOLL’s CPR-D•padz includes a hand placement locator, an accelerometer, electronics, and a sophisticated processing algorithm. This system accurately measures CPR compression and converts the motion of the accelerometer over time into distance moved. The infrequent rescuer now has help providing CPR support for the victim. Product Description

An automated external defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that analyzes the heart's rhythm and, if necessary, allows a rescuer to deliver an electric shock to a victim of sudden cardiac arrest. Their simplicity and reliability also allows use by minimally trained laypersons.
