Features		The BioPro P.S.L. stem is available in nine evenly graded dimensions to avoid inordinate sizing and to accommodate the variations encountered in surgical candidates. The proportional increment sizing relates to three critical areas: 1) the circumferential dimensions of the supporting platform, 2) the diameter (girth) of the stem, and 3) the intramedullary length of the stem. The stems are lengthened progressively and proportionally and are offered in both short and long stem designs. The long stem is recommended for revisional hip procedures and for primary hips with sufficiently limited bowing of the femoral shaft.

The P.S.L. stem is manufactured from cobalt chrome and is available with or without porous coating to give the surgeon the option of utilizing either the cementless of cemented technique at his or her discretion.
