| The XTD Thrombectomy catheter is a mechanical catheter intended to percutaneously break-up and remove thrombus from occluded hemodialysis access grafts. The disposable catheter requires no external console and consists of a rotatable, spiral shaft which extends beyond the 6F plastic sheath as a flexible, distal curved tip. In use, the tip spins to wipe even adherent thrombus from the graft walls and macerate it into small particles. As the particles are formed, they are simultaneously aspirated into the catheter sheath and conveyed out of the vessel by the rotating spiral shaft. Indication: For use in breaking apart and removing thrombus from hemodialysis access grafts. | |
