The Thumper Board provides optimum head hyperextension, open airway, and a firm compression surface; makes endotracheal intubation easier. Placed at strategic locations throughout the hospital, the Thumper Board allows better manual CPR to be started immediately, and easy conversion to Thumper® CPR
Set-up to patient application can be done in less than 30 seconds.
Slide the base of the Thumper® into the board without interrupting manual CPR. With two people, conversion from manual to Thumper® CPR is made with no loss of support.
Transfer from manual CPR to the Thumper®.
The Thumper® prescribes the proper initial sternal deflection. The constant-flow ventilator can be adjusted for desired chest rise.
