| TESLASCAN is a liver-specific contrast agent approved for sale in the U.S. in November 1997. Its introduction expands the Amersham Health portfolio to include an organ-specific MR agent. When injected intravenously, TESLASCAN aids in the detection, localization, characterization, and evaluation of liver lesions. Imaging can begin within minutes of injection, and additional scans can be taken up to 24 hours later without reinjection or loss of image quality. | |
