A specially designed thread inside the cervical plate prevents the Top Locking Plate from detaching. Bone screws are independent of the locking plate, therefore, they can be placed in any configuration without hampering the insertion of the lock plate. The lock plate also features multiple lock capabilities. Top Locking Plate is tightened to the specified torque, it flexes.
