Revision capabilities | | Approval | | FDA | | Type | | Total ankle replacement implant | | Product Number | | Inquire | | Sizes | | Six implant sizes allow an accurate, anatomic fit. This is important with rheumatoid arthritis and severe osteoporosis cases to help ensure that the maximum amount of exposed bone is covered by the implant.
| | Cemented | | This ankle prosthesis is intended for cemented use only. | | Tibial Component | | The tibial component is obliquely rectangular and positioned so the articular surface is in 20 degrees of external rotation. The medial and lateral walls of the tibial component sit flush against the cut surface of the medial and lateral malleoli, respectively, bridging the tibia's lateral cortex and the fibula's medial cortex. This provides a broad base of support for the tibial component and covers almost all exposed cancellous bone.
| | Talar Component | | The talar component is placed in a similar fashion, perpendicular to the tibial component's articular surface and in 20 degrees of external rotation on the cut surface of the talus body. The implant is semi-constrained, allowing rotation and medial and lateral shift. The body of the talus is tapered posteriorly to facilitate insertion.

 | | Product Description | |
| The Agility Total Ankle System from DePuy is the first total ankle replacement implant with a wide base of support that bridges the fused tibiofibular syndesmosis for increased contact and better force distribution. The Agility Ankle, developed in conjunction with Frank G. Alvine, MD, helps to allow for normal alignment during the stance phase and associated talonavicular rotation and up to 60 degrees of rotation for more comfortable movement during the walking cycle. | |
