    Product Description
Kompressor is a two-piece Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) screw offered in two diameters (Standard and Mini) and a variety of lengths. The two pieces are loaded together as one screw and sterile packaged. A single instrument set contains all items necessary for implantation or removal of both Standard and Mini Kompressor Compression Screws.

Kompressor is a unique design where the screw achieves mechanical compression and fixation of fracture fragments by relying on a differential thread pitch between the "leading" and "trailing" portions of the screw and the central shaft along which the trailing screw travels as it crosses the fracture line. In this manner, the surgeon actually has the ability to "dial-in" the compressive load desired, and to adjust that load intraoperatively.
