| The cornerstones of the Acutrak family are the Standard Acutrak and the Mini-Acutrak Screw Systems. Together they are used primarily for secure fixation for fractures and fusions of the upper extremity, but have been used for numerous foot and ankle procedures. The bones stabilized with these two systems have ranged from scaphoids to OCDs where there exists significant cartilage surrounding the bones, to phalangeal fusions where their headless design eliminates soft tissue irritation.
