Product Description

The new OTI-Scan 1000 is the most advanced ophthalmic ultrasound available today. This compact combination B/A-scan system operates with a single Macintosh desktop or laptop computer and performs 3D B-scans with a streamlined internal probe rotator. Every aspect of the OTI-Scan 1000 is newly designed. The UltraFast 12 MHz B-probe operates on an entirely new principal. Its scanning rate of 50 frames/second allows excellent visualization of tissue vasularity and mobility in the vitreous. Its internal rotator assembly can generate a three-dimensional image in less than two seconds. This is the only system that records B & A-Scan movies in real-time, allowing the user full playback and movie-editing capabilities prior to storing the movie in the patient database.
