| The Hancock® II bioprosthesis from Medtronic has more than 15 years of proven clinical experience. Worldwide clinical studies demonstrate that the freedom from structural valve deterioration with Hancock® II aortic and mitral bioprostheses is substantially better than results reported for other valves. For more than 20 years, Medtronic’s mitral valves have incorporated a ratchet mechanism to ease implantability, a feature made possible by Medtronic’s flexible acetal homopolymer stent.
