The Mosaic valve builds upon three decades of tissue valve experience and is an excellent choice for patients who require aortic or mitral valve replacement with a tissue valve. For more than 20 years, Medtronic’s mitral valves have incorporated a ratchet mechanism to ease implantability, a feature made possible by Medtronic’s flexible acetal homopolymer stent.
