DePuy developed the ULTRAMIX Vacuum Mixing System to make the most of today's high-performance cements and achieve optimum strength.
The ULTRAMIX Vacuum Mixing System uses an "environmentally friendly" design that protects the user from monomer fumes and glass shards during loading and mixing. The unique offset paddle design creates a wave pattern in the cement, helping to reduce the amount of unmixed powder and porosity after mixing. The result is optimal mix quality and optimal cement strength which helps contribute to strong, long-lasting implants.
