| Intramedullary fixation has greatly enhanced the stabilization of difficult tibial fractures. The Biomet® Low Profile Tibial Nail is primarily indicated in the treatment of unstable fractures, tibial nonunion, and metastatic disease with pathologic or impending fractures but particularly useful in the treatment of very distal tibial fractures.
