| The VersaCell is a robotic sample feeder that interfaces with the IMMULITE 2000 and IMMULITE 2500 systems via a robotic arm and the VersaCell software. Continuous sample loading, onboard sample capacity of 200 tubes and compatibility with clinical chemistry system racks are just some of the features that make the VersaCell a practical and affordable solution for improving productivity. The VersaCell and the IMMULITE 2000 / IMMULITE 2500 systems operate as a single, integrated platform—yet the IMMULITE 2000 and IMMULITE 2500 systems are completely independent of the VersaCell, giving customers the flexibility they need when using automated sample processors. The VersaCell can also be used to connect multiple IMMULITE systems creating the most powerful immunoassay system available. This link of two IMMULITE 2000 and/or IMMULITE 2500 systems together and facilitates operator interfacing from a single sample-entry point. VersaCell is used to connect IMMULITE to Siemens track based automation products ADVIA Workcell, ADVIa LabCell and and StreamLAB. VersaCell can also be used to connect the ADVIA 1800 Chemistry to the IMMULITE 2000 or IMMULITE 2500 to create a compact island of automation.
