The VHS® Variable- Angle CHS System takes the time proven technology of hip fixation to the millennium.
The VHS® Supracondylar Cable Plate is designed for treatment of your most difficult distal femur fractures including periprosthetic fractures. The combination of the unique features of the variable angle of the barrel and the plate combined with BMP™ cable sleeves provide for an extraordinary range of treatment options. It is approved for and useful in the treatment of T-Condylar fractures as well. Its major impact, however, will be on supracondylar and more proximal fracture patterns.
The two screw holes closest to the barrel accept 6.5mm cancellous bone screws. This enhances stability by allowing:
Fixation of the most distal condylar fracture fragments with two integral screws.
Fixation of the most proximal subtrochanteric fracture fragments with two integral screws.
