| ZstatFlu™ is the first available point-of-care diagnostic test that can reliably and quickly diagnose all strains of influenza A and B. The test uses a unique substrate for influenza neuraminidase, an enzyme that assists viral replication by promoting the release of the virus from infected cells. The ZstatFlu substrate is labeled with a chromagen. When influenza virus is present, the viral neuraminidase enzyme cleaves the ZstatFlu substrate, which liberates the chromagen and yields a distinct blue color. If it's blue… it's flu! | |
