| The ProTime® Microcoagulation System monitors warfarin for use by healthcare professionals and for patient self-testing. Enhancements include an easy-to-read back-lit display and an operator rechargeable and replaceable battery. Software updates include the ability to auto-send results to a printer, computer or be transmitted to a LIS or EMR database through a clinical interface. ProTime accepts and stores patient and/or operator ID for reduced transcription errors. Off-meter sampling provides safety against sample contamination and disease transmission. ProTime offers both on-board and optional external quality controls.
