    Product Description
The SmartVac Smoke Evacuation System provides a more intelligent solution to the problem of collecting hazardous surgical plume. This next generation smoke evacuator combines a higher level of user feedback with numerous user requested features and benefits into a unique, smart system. SmartVac flow control can be adjusted to ten different air flow settings. From low to high, each setting pulls progressively more cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air flow through the filter port. Since the motor is very powerful, a setting of two or three is sufficient for many ESU/Laser applications and will significantly reduce the evacuator's sound during the procedure. SmartVac will also alert the user when to change the filter. This is based on the actual amount of particulate in the filter, not based on time. It includes an invaginated tissue release feature that minimizes tissue trauma by automatically venting vacuum when an occlusion or tissue invagination is detected. The SmokeTrap™ First Filter should last an average of twenty procedures, depending on the length and/or type of procedure, significantly reducing cost per procedure. This filter also collects up to 100cc's of fluid to help avoid procedure interruption while protecting filter and evacuator from premature failure.
