| HEp-2000 ANA uses a patented HEp-2 cell line that has been genetically engineered to increase the sensitivity to SS-A/Ro autoantibodies, without affecting the other ANA patterns seen. Several independent studies have been published worldwide on the HEp-2000 ANA substrate, which show increased sensitivity to SS-A/Ro autoantibodies when used in place of standard HEp-2 cells as the routine ANA screening test. | |
