LESS HEAT: The amount of heat released during polymerization (setting) is directly proportional to the amount of monomer used. Cemex's reduced monomer results in less heat, minimizing the potential for thermal necrosis.
LESS SHRINKAGE: During polymerization, contraction or “shrinkage” of bone cement naturally occurs. Cemex's reduced monomer results in shrinkage that is two-thirds less than traditional bone cements.
