Low Monomer - Cemex's unique low monomer formulation exposes the patient and medical professionals to less monomer than traditional 2:1 bone cement systems.
Less Heat - The amount of heat released during polymerization (setting) is directly proportional to the amount of monomer used. Cemex's reduced monomer results in less heat, minimizing the potential for thermal necrosis.
Less Shrinkage - During polymerization, contraction, or "shrinkage", of bone cement naturally occurs.
