The retractor is deployed by turning the grooved handle. When the fingers are fully deployed, the retractor span measures approximately 85 mm across. Each finger is 8 mm wide. The center finger is approximately 70 mm long. When inserting and removing the ENDO RETRACT™ instrument from the trocar sleeve, the flapper valve should be manually opened by rotating the desufflation lever. In addition, ensure that the atraumatic fingers are not deployed during insertion and removal through the trocar sleeve.
