Product Description

GORE DUALMESH® PLUS Biomaterial is the first dual-surface hernia repair material with antimicrobial technology for controlling potential operative contamination of the material. This advanced ePTFE biomaterial contains two antimicrobial preservative agents, silver carbonate and chlorhexidine diacetate, which act to inhibit bacterial colonization on the patch for up to 10 days post-implantation. GORE DUALMESH® PLUS Biomaterial is also available with holes. These macropores encourage faster tissue incorporation, while maintaining the benefits of GORE DUALMESH Biomaterial. It also offers all the performance advantages of Gore's standard DUALMESH Biomaterial, such as rapid host tissue incorporation and minimal foreign-body response.
