| Human explant studies have confirmed Atrium’s superior biocompatibility and strength character for maximum clinical performance in hernia repair. These same studies indicate that Atrium’s thinner and less dense hernia mesh can result in a stronger, less rigid repair. Since 1994, when Atrium first introduced thin wall polypropylene mesh with its Parallel Flex™ monofilament construction,Atrium continues to set the standard for low profile hernia mesh repair.
As published studies have shown, not all “polypropylene mesh” or “highly porous” mesh products perform the same.
