| The new Hammertoe Implant is a combination of a screw and a barbed pin. This implant has all the advantages offered by resorbable pins for a hammertoe fixation and prevents pistoning and rotational instability. Plus, it's easy to use! Drill and tap the proximal phalanx. Drill the middle phalanx. Insert the threaded portion of the implant proximally. Press fit the barbed portion of the implant distally. |  |
