In-line handle design. Long narrow shaft allows for greater access and visibility in General, Thoracic and Colorectal procedures.
Instrument will not close if pin has not been seated properly, which ensures proper staple formation.
Slim anvil provides greater access and reduced dissection.
Jaws will not close with an empty/fired SULU, a partially or incorrectly loaded SULU, or without a SULU in the jaws, which prevents firing of staples unless a new cartridge with staples is properly loaded.
Convenient integral cutting guide provides precise transection if desired.
Spent Cartridge Indicator avoids confusion when determining if a cartridge has been fired or not.

Single Use Loading Cartridges With Titanium Staples for use with PI™ (Single Use Reloadable Stapler With Titanium Staples).
The PI™ disposable stapler is designed for use in the resection or transection of normal, healthy internal tissues. The instrument places a double staggered row (or triple staggered row, when using the 30 VASCULAR cartridges) of titanium staples and is available in three staple line lengths. Three staple sizes are available to accommodate various tissue thicknesses. Each PI* disposable stapler may be fired up to 4 times in a single patient procedure. | |
