Product Description

The ABSOLOK EXTRA Ligating Clip Applier is a reusable instrument that delivers absorbable ligating clips. The instrument and clips are designed to offer a fast, efficient means of ligation of tubular structures where an absorbable ligating device is indicated. The instrument optimizes visibility of the clip at the ligation site and facilitates access to virtually all vessels and/or tissues. The ligating clips are positioned around a tubular structure and closed by applying pressure to the handles of the applier.

The ABSOLOK EXTRA Ligating Clips are sterile, single patient use clips produced from polydioxanone polymer and are designed for use as absorbable ligatures. The clips are radiotransparent and therefore will not interfere with interpretation of postoperative X-ray, CT, or MR scans.

The ABSOLOK EXTRA Ligating Clips and Clip Appliers have application for use on tubular structures or vessels wherever ligating clips are indicated. The tissue being ligated should be consistent with the size of the clip.
