| The Bledsoe Aligner OA Knee Brace uses muscle power to place a laterally (Aligner LA) or medially (Aligner MA) directed force against the knee during terminal extension to help relieve pain for mild to moderate symptomatic lateral or medial compartment arthrosis. For moderate to severe OA, Bledsoe has engineered the Thruster 2.
Indications
Aligner LA - This device is indicated for Lateral Unicom-partmental Gonarthrosis to help relieve symptoms of pain and inflammation, to aid in delaying osteotomy or total joint procedures, to increase daily walking time while increasing activities, and to aid in slowing the progression of the condition. Also indicated for post-operative or post-injury application following lateral collateral ligament injury or reconstruction to help relieve stress on these healing structures.
Aligner MA - This device is indicated for Medial Unicom-partmental Gonarthrosis to help relieve symptoms of pain and inflammation, to aid in delaying osteotomy or total joint procedures, to increase daily walking time while increasing activities, and to aid in slowing the progression of the condition. Also indicated for post-operative or post-injury application following lateral collateral ligament injury or reconstruction to help relieve stress on these healing structures.
Hinge Dynamic control applies force only when needed, so greater force can be applied without cutting off circulation.
