    Product Description
    The RCAI Dorsal Blocking Splint is constructed of a durable heat moldable thermoplastic for patient customization. The DBS protects the flexor tendons of the hand and fingers from stress following injury, and prevents scar tissue development in the later stages of the healing process.

    The DBS rest dorsally on the hand and positions the wrist at 30° of flexion, the MCP joints at 70° of flexion and the IP joints of the fingers at full extension. The straps at the distal end of the fingers provide comfortable IP extension positioning at night. Palmar pullies can be attached to loops on the forearm straps for dynamic tension during the day, increasing tendon tensile strength.
