The automated solution for Western Blot analysis

The ProfiBlot is a fully automated Western Blot Analyzer for many applications including the detection of proteins that reveal the presence of infectious diseases such as viruses and bacteria. Furthermore ProfiBlot enables fast and accurate screening of allergies and other application areas that are rapidly expanding.

The system offers easy programming via either PC using the Winblot software or with the onboard software. Dispense volumes, incubation time, shake speed and wash parameters can be arranged in any combination within a protocol. Once programming and downloading with the Winblot software is completed, the ProfiBlot will perform the assays in stand-alone operation.

Depending on the tray 24 to 36 strips can be processed per run. Every program can consist of up to 60 steps. Up to 20 different programs can be permanently stored in the onboard memory, Password protection is available. A unique automated pump calibration system ensures excellent results.

With four different versions of profiBlot, ProfiBlot II N, II S, II T and 2in1 you can operate according to your requirements.

The profiBlot II N has 2 reagent channels with 3 pumps in parallel for fast dispensing and 4 channels for single position reagent addition. Liquid is removed from the tray by 3 aspirating needles in parallel.
The ProfiBlot II S has 6 channels for normal reagent addition. Liquid is removed from the tray by draining into the waste channel.
The ProfiBlot 2in1 offers all the features of II N and supports in addition the innovative Allergy Screen System.
The ProfiBlot II T offers fully automated processing of sensitive temperature-controlled assays such as reverse hybridization assays with a sophisticated heating and cooling system.
