The MultiBlot tray is specifically designed for a variety of applications that employ commonly used 10.16 x 13.34cm dot blot transfer membranes. The tray has the same exterior dimensions as a standard microplate for compatibility with various automated liquid handling instruments and accepts commercially available dot blot membranes without trimming.
With a snug fitting lid to minimize spills and a working depth of 1.5cm, the MultiBlot tray is ideal for:
Plating solid media and for blot hybridization and processing.
Performing colony replication of bacterial or yeast libraries on membranes overlayed on solid media in the tray.
Plating bacteria and yeast and performing colony and plaque lifts.
Blot hybridization and processing using the Gemini® Twin Shaking Waterbath with its specially designed microplate adapter.
Made from clear, virgin polystyrene, MultiBlot trays come with matching lids in standard or radiation sterilized packages of 20 trays per case.
