| The GeneMachines HybStation is the first automated system for the hybridization of microarrays. The unit automates all thermal and wash cycles for the hybridization of microarrays spotted on standard glass slides. A 12-position GeneMachines HybStation allows for six different sets of hybridizations, while the individual ports allow for independent probe introduction for each microarray. Minimizes handling of microarrays, substantially reducing human error. That means better control over the experimental variables, resulting in increased reproducibility of the hybridization. Programmable temperature control allows for stepwise annealing of probes based on their GC content, resulting in improved hybridization specificity and more reliable data. |
