| Is designed for highthroughput reading of tube racks. Its camera-based vision system captures and decodes tubes in less than one second per rack, making it ideal for use in automated settings. The open-top design of the reader allows a rack to be read automatically and can be easily accessed by robotic arms. An optical safety switch prevents a rack from being read in the wrong orientation, and the reader unit can be used in cold rooms (down to -20degC). Decoded tube numbers are exported via text files and a list of ActiveX controls is provided to allow for integration with other programs. The VisionMate96 Plus comes with the reader unit, and a Dell Windows 2000 PC controller with all necessary hardware and software pre-loaded. | |
