 | | Product Description | |
At first contact the diamond shaped teeth set the blade on a straight accurate cut path through the bone. Because the teeth are very sharp, and the cut starts true, “dancing” is virtually eliminated. Even the hardest bone is cut with minimal force due to the sharp, smooth ground, hardened cutting surfaces of the K-2000™.
The troughs between the teeth provide an exit channel for the cutting debris preventing material build-up within the cut site. The unique “diamond-cut” tooth resists dulling due to a special fabrication process that assures a long lasting hardened cutting edge. These factors combine to ensure an optimum cutting edge that minimizes thermal necrosis. (Always use sufficient irrigation).
To ensure success, straight accurate cut surfaces are required for maximum contact at the interface between the bone and the prosthetic surface. The K-2000™ has been designed to be compatible with all major knee system cutting guides in order to achieve this precision fit.
The K-2000™ line is available in cutting edge widths of 1/2", 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4", each width is available in a cutting thickness of .035", .039", .047", .050", .054" and .058" all with a cutting depth of 90.0mm.
The K-2000™ series is available in seven hub configurations to fit Linvatec® Hall® Versipower® (Original/Old Style), Linvatec® Hall® Versipower® Plus (New Style), Linvatec® 3M® Maxi-Driver™, Stryker® Orthopower® (Original/Old Style), Stryker® EHD & System 2000/4000 (New Style), Sodem™ / Synthes®, and Aesculap® (New Style) handpieces.
“Replacement” means closely matched. To determine final feasibility of use, an actual side-by-side comparison of blades should be performed.
A competitive Saw Blade cross-reference section, located in Brasseler USA’s current catalog, enables easy location of comparable blade product catalog number for Brasseler USA™ to Linvatec® & Hall®, Stryker®, 3M®, MicroAire®, DePuy ACE®, Synthes, Tava®, Omega™ and AMS®. | |
