    Product Description
The Bio-Corkscrews offer the best bioabsorbable solution for soft tissue fixation to bone. The unique cancellous thread design and small core diameter provide maximum pull-out strength in soft bone. A braided suture loop is molded into the core body to create a unique suture eyelet that virtually eliminates abrasion to attached sutures. Multiple sutures can be attached to the eyelet allowing slipknots to slide smoothly with minimum friction. With the suture molded through the entire body of the anchor, maximum suture fixation strength is maintained throughout the absorption cycle. The Bio-Corkscrews come preloaded in a disposable handled inserter with various suture configurations. The Bio-Corkscrew is available w/two #2 sutures (1 green/1 white), two #2 FiberWire sutures or two #2 TigerTail sutures. TigerTail suture is a version of FiberWire with a black stripe on one half of the suture strand which terminates at the anchor eyelet. The TigerTail feature aids in simplifying suture management and identifying post strand during arthroscopic knot tying. Bio-Corkscrews with 2 mm FiberTape are also available. The punch is used to create a pilot hole before the implant is inserted. In hard bone, the tap is needed. The 3.7 mm Bio-Corkscrew is used in double row rotator cuff repairs, in the medial or lateral row. The 6.5 mm implant should only be used in soft bone. All implants are sterile and SU.
