| Each ProsperaŽ brachytherapy source consists of a welded titanium capsule containing either Iodine-125 or Palladium-103 adsorbed onto four resin beads. The capsule body also contains two inactive gold beads which serve as x-ray markers to identify the source location and orientation. Prospera sources are supplied non-sterile when shipped and must be sterilized prior to use. | |
