| The Hemokinetitherm is a ruggedly built, simple to operate fluid warmer designed to provide a stable temperature for the controlled warming of blood or other fluids being transfused to a patient. This temperature is maintained by a water reservoir which is heated by two 150-watt heaters regulated by a proportional controller which is backed up by a thermoswitch. Blood is warmed to a uniform temperature as it flows through a disposable, pre-formed, sterile and leak proof Hemocoil tube, which is immersed in the water bath. The Hemokinetitherm requires less than 7 minutes to reach operating temperature. | |
