Product Description
A particular challenge in transseptal left heart catheterization occurs when the initial guiding sheath must be exchanged for a sheath with an alternate curve while maintaining the septal wall position. Traditionally, such an exchange has required a repeat septal puncture--complex in a heparinized patient. Biosense Webster has overcome this problem with the unique PERRY exchange dilator used with the PREFACE guiding sheaths. The PERRY exchange dilator allows the septal position to be precisely maintained while the new sheath is quickly introduced.
