Product Description
The new XL3000 by PerkinElmer is a complete fiber optic illuminator featuring the latest in Cermax® Xenon technology. Cermax Xenon is the premiere fiber optic illumination technology for integration into endoscopy equipment and other demanding medical applications that require bright, accurate color illumination. It provides many advantages for the medical environment, such as consistent 6000°K color temperature that yields true white light throughout the life of the lamp. The broadband xenon spectrum makes it an ideal "tunable” source for narrow band illumination applications such as biofluorescence and photoactivation.
