| BARRIER drapes feature a comprehensive range of procedure-specific designs for all surgical specialities and are currently in use throughout the world. Surgical needs such as strength, absorbency and barrier properties are met by using different materials to provide performance where needed. The BARRIER drape range is available in a wide array of formats, including sterile packs, speciality sheets and components. Additionally bulk non-sterile products are also available. ProcedurePak™ custom procedure trays can also be manufactured; they incorporating BARRIER components to suit the specific needs of the hospital. The use of multiple types of fabric in the BARRIER range provides specific performance according to the proximity of the operative surgical site. DRISITE reinforcement provides strength, impermeability and absorbency. Spunlace materials provide barrier properties, softness, conformability and patient comfort. Universal films provide low weight and transparency where needed. The procedural performance of BARRIER drapes is further enhanced by the use of incise films, adhesive edges, instrument pads, integrated fluid collection pouches and a range of other supplementary products to aid surgery. | |
